Upcoming Outages

Outage Image

ConnectCarolina Outage May 16 for Summer Census

There will be an outage affecting ConnectCarolina Student Administration on Monday, May 16, beginning at 5:00pm and ending at approximately 12:00am as part of the Summer census activities.

Faculty, students and staff will NOT be able to access ConnectCarolina Student Center during this time.

The Finance component is NOT affected by this outage.  However, the ePAR hire form for HR/Payroll is impacted, as are some services related to Onyen, PID and Guest ID.  Visit the System Status page for a full list of affected services.

InfoPorte Upgrade and Outage May 13 - 14

InfoPorte will be unavailable for 24 hours beginning this Friday at 6:00pm while the system is upgraded.  Users will be able to access InfoPorte after 6:00pm on Saturday.

Look for details coming soon on the changes and improvements (including performance improvements) that are being implemented as a result of this outage.

Visit the System Status page for more information.

New CCinfo Website Coming Soon

Later this month you will see major changes at CCinfo, the ConnectCarolina User Information website.  A brand-new website is coming that will dramatically improve your ability to find training and help documentation for ConnectCarolina and InfoPorte.

We created this new site based on anecdotal feedback and a survey held earlier this year.  Improvements based on your input include:

• A powerful search feature that makes documents and training easier to find

• Slimmer menus that make site navigation simpler

• A new design that works better on tablets and mobile phones

Look for an announcement soon about the launch of the new site!

Newsletter Changing Frequency to Monthly

For more than three years, this newsletter has gone out every other Wednesday.  As ConnectCarolina continues to improve and mature, we find that there are fewer updates to provide you.  Starting with our next mailing, to be sent in early June, the ConnectCarolina Newsletter is going to a monthly frequency.
